I had the opportunity to attend two presentations by Suzanne Sherkin. Suzanne gave an excellent presentation based upon her personal experiences supporting her trans son through his transition. My students described the presentation as: "moving", "insightful", "....made me feel less alone and more supported". It is my opinion that students left the presentation feeling "seen and supported" and that staff who are supportive, but struggling with their own questions regarding gender diversity left the presentation feeling better informed and able to feel greater compassion for students questioning their respective gender identities. -- Head of Guidance, Thames Valley District School Board
